Author's POV (Point of View)

The room in which the three friends, Aarna, Mahi, and Aaruna, were suddenly silent. The sound of their talks and laughter suddenly disappeared because the three of them were shocked by a gunshot. The first one to come out of the shock and started going towards the door was Aarna.

P
Aaruna and Mahi came out of shock by the jingling sound of Aarna's payal and chuda that she wore for her marriage. Aarna was fully dressed in a beautiful red bridal lehenga with amazing jewelry around her neck, head, ears, hand, waist, and feet.

"She looked nothing short of a royal queen descending to marry a king."

But who was the king here?

Aarna turned back to look at her friends, with a cold glare to stop her from going down.
They both understood her glare, so Aanura said, "Aru, tu baith behen, hum dono neeche check karke dekhte hain. Maybe hum jo soch rahe hain woh na ho .I mean shaadi wala ghar, or aaj kal gunshot jaise sound wala patake bhi toh aate hain. Tu tension mat le. Main check karke aati hoon. Mahi, you stay with her." She ordered Mahi to stay with her because she knew only she could handle an angry Aarna."

There was a pin-drop silence in the room, whereas a storm was going on downstairs. Aruna came slowly with high alert to see what was going on there, and what she saw made her eyes widen and breathing heavy. Without any moments, she quickly ran back to the room and turned to both of her friends who were eagerly waiting for her to speak about anything which was happening downstairs.

Aaruna looked at Arna and said in her thought, "God, why do you have to be this cruel to her? She is just going to start her new life, and before that, you created an obstacle." She asked her God, "Why, God, why?"

But Aruna has to say everything, even after knowing that it might hurt her friend. But they deserve to know it. Hence, she looked at Aarna and said, "Aru, that was a real gunshot, and Uncle and Aunt are held hostage downstairs with many others, and they are..."she couldn't continue her words.

Upon hearing all of this, Arna's brain went blank."She never thought her wedding day would turn out like this, but she composed herself and asked Aaruna, 'And what are they, Ana?"Her voice trembling, she pleaded, (Why not ,your parents are at stake? And are the children bothered by this? That's not right.)

" Th-Th-They are at gunpoint."These words hurt her to hell. She knew she was capable of saving her parent, but she couldn't, as she didn't want to show them her evil side, which would show up if she tried to save them. Even after, rather than sitting in the room and overthinking, she thought it's better to go and save them. Hence, she looked at her friends and then at the SCABBARD. She is an experienced sword player, and it was time to use it, as her parents knew about her swordsmanship. Hence, with their eye talk, three of friends grabbed their swords and opened the door.

Ready to face reality, ready to save their loved ones, ready to destroy the attackers.

As the corridor stretched before them, a sudden shadow detached itself from the gate's darkness-an attacker, swift and menacing. Yet, before the blow could land, Arna, with a warrior's instinct, parried the assault, her subordinate standing firm in defense. The unsuspecting guard, deeming the girls harmless, was caught off guard by their hidden allies, who emerged from behind, delivering a shocking blow. In that crucial moment, Mahi seized the advantage, her sword plunging into the guard's stomach, while Aruna delivered a decisive kick, ensuring their swift victory. With the immediate threat neutralized, the girls, undeterred, resumed their perilous journey, leaving chaos in their wake.

The air crackled with tension as the girls, Aarna, Mahi, and Aruna resumed their perilous journey, only to be ambushed by four relentless attackers. Aarna, with a swift, decisive motion, unleashed her sword, its gleaming steel a barrier against their advance. Mahi, a whirlwind of motion, expertly parried a blow aimed at one of the assailants' arms, deflecting danger with practiced ease. Aruna, a force of nature, thrust her sword deep into the chest of an attacker, a testament to her unwavering resolve. Amidst the chaos. Arna, with a surge of strength, shoved one foe to the ground, allowing Aruna to deliver a final, piercing strike near his left stomach. The battle raged, a desperate dance of steel and resolve against overwhelming odds.

The air crackled with tension as the collision sent a searing pain through her (Mahi)skull, her head striking the unforgiving wall. A crimson tide erupted from her forehead, staining her vision. Witnessing this brutal sight, Arna, a warrior bound by the weight of her heavy lehenga, surged forward. Though her movements were hindered, her resolve remained unbroken. With a fierce, calculated thrust, her sword found its mark, piercing the very core of his being, forcing him to his knees. Yet, even in defeat, he clawed for his own blade, a desperate defiance in his eyes. But Arna's swift retribution was absolute; her sword, a blur of steel, descended upon his neck, severing his life with a final, decisive blow.

The girls, their path finally cleared, resumed their perilous descent, each step echoing the weight of their purpose. As they reached the foot of the stairs, a chilling tableau unfolded:

Her parents, brought to their knees, their faces etched with terror, as a menacing figure loomed before them. He stood with his back to her parents, a silhouette of dread, his front turned towards the source of their fear. With a surge of adrenaline, she began her descent, a lone figure against the encroaching shadow. Her very being, a fragile vessel of hope and despair, propelled her forward.

Her once regal adornments, now mere echoes of a forgotten grandeur, lay misplaced and scattered. The vibrant hues of her dupatta, once a symbol of grace, were faded and worn. Her hair, a wild tempest, framed eyes that held a chilling blend of fear and an unyielding determination, a silent promise to her parents etched in their depths. She descended, a figure of both vulnerability and fierce resolve, into an uncertain fate.

Seeing her come down, her parents were feeling very helpless as it was the most important and frightful event of her life. The sword in her hand and the blood on it proved to them that their daughter was capable of saving herself, but can she save her parents? Can she do anything for them?

She came standing just behind that man."

"With determined eyes and a voice full of fear she asked him, "WHO ARE YOU?"

Listening to her question, the man turned and BOOMMM"

The three girls stood there looking at the man."

But his eyes were only fixed on her."
